We bring THERAPEUTIC HUMOUR  &  HAPPINESS
to children and elderly in hospitals and health care.

Within the first year of operations, Clown Doctors Singapore already brought smiles to more than 15,000 patients, family members and hospital staff in 5 following hospitals:

Changi

General Hospital

"We started the medical clowning programme with Clown Doctors Singapore in March 2015 and it has been a great experience since.  Prior to the launch, Professor Thomas Petschner, CDS Co-founder & Artistic Director, conducted a series of workshops for the CGH staff; giving all participants an insight into the role of Clown Doctors, the benefits of humour especially in the healing journey of the sick, the work and core values of Clown Doctors, as well as how they collaborate with hospital staff in helping with the recovery of the patients.

As bearers of joy and more importantly, cheer; the clown doctors are indeed a welcome sight at the hospital not just for the patients, but for our staff as well.

Thank you, Clown Doctors  Singapore, for your professionalism and the joy you bring! It’s been a pleasure working with you and we are definitely looking forward to adding greater value and bring holistic care to our patients".

“The Clown Doctors visit some of our wards once a week. Our staff in the wards tell us that patients are always happy to see The Clown Doctors.

Many thanks, Clown Doctors, for this delightful partnership in bringing cheer and happy moments to our patients, especially the elderly.”

“At KKH, we view our patients’ emotional and social wellness as important factors that not only make their hospital stay a more pleasant one, but can contribute to their overall healing and recovery from illness. While we have some experience with clowning, Clown Doctors Singapore (CDS) is new to Singapore.  ...

The majority of patients who were interacted with, appeared glad and ward staff have also given positive feedback. ... We are happy to continue to have Clown Doctors Singapore volunteer their service with us where it benefits our patients.”
